Michelle is a highly experienced communication professional with close to 20 years’ experience in public sector communication.
She is committed to providing quality communication solutions that achieve real-world outcomes. She has held senior federal and state government communication positions, including with the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Department of Health, the Department of Human Services, the Queensland Department of Communities, and the Queensland Office of Fair Trading.
In these roles, she developed and implemented a number of large-scale communication campaigns and projects. These include the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey campaign, two national Census campaigns, and a number of public health campaigns.
Michelle is experienced in all facets of marketing, communication, and media and issues management, with a particular interest in strategy and content development, and social marketing campaigns to influence behaviour and benefit communities. With tertiary qualifications in creative writing, she has a strength in producing a wide range of effective communication material.
From strategy to execution and evaluation, Michelle forges strong and collaborative relationships with partners and clients to deliver relevant and quality results.
