The Social Deck helps organisations to reach and engage people in actions that have a positive impact on society and the environment.
We are a for-purpose business specialising in strategic communications, stakeholder and community engagement, digital strategy, social marketing campaigns and evaluation. We provide consultancy services to government agencies, businesses, social enterprises and not-for-profits to help them achieve change.
Our specialty is in supporting local change projects; combining engagement, participatory design and behaviour change tools to help communities tackle local issues.
As a B-Corp certified social business, The Social Deck reinvests its profits back into projects, resources and services that have a positive impact on society and the environment.
We focus on inclusive practices. Whether we’re designing communication, community engagement, products or behaviour change programs, we make sure they’re as inclusive and accessible as possible to all in the community.

We're committed to net zero by 2030. Our head office is powered 100% by roof top solar, producing more electricity than we use. We have offset all personal emissions of our team through our partnership with Greenfleet.

The Social Deck acknowledges the traditional custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and community. Our staff live and work on the lands of many First Nations peoples, including the Gubbi Gubbi or Kabi Kabi people, the Turrbal and Yuggera people, the Bundjalung people, the Ngarigo and Ngunnawal people and the Wadawurrung people. These peoples have lived on and cared for these lands for thousands of generations, and their sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to them and their cultures, and to elders past and present.
