We’re helping the Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works with strategic and practical communications support to improve the reach and effectiveness of the Resilient Homes Fund (RHF).
The RHF was created following serious flood events in South East Queensland in 2021-2022. It helps homeowners to complete resilience works such as home-raises and retrofits, and provides community education on flood preparedness and mitigation strategies.
We work in partnership with the RHF Industry and Community Education team to plan and complete communications and engagement activities, as well as respond to opportunities as they arise – for example, extra communications after a heavy rain event.

In addition to direct community engagement, we have also delivered a range of communication products to support the program. We have created, or contributed to:
This includes tailoring content and messages across products, and resources and activities to key audiences, particularly homeowners, the building industry, and flood-prone communities. This project builds on our expertise in communication and engagement about and after natural disaster events.
We support the Queensland Government’s Resilient Homes Fund to inform and educate the community about the benefits of flood resilient building design and home improvements.
